Clay for Kids has limitless opportunities to help you create special projects for all occasions. We come to you and provide all necessary instruction, support, and material required during your scheduled workshop or class. You may chose curriculum or seasonal projects for children 3 – 17 years old. We have over 155 projects to choose from!

FINISHING YOUR CLAY ART
ADD SLIP GLAZING + 30 Minutes Class Time
Students will paint their project with our special pottery paint after they complete building their piece. We fire the projects & dip them in clear glaze so they are colourful, shiny and durable when finished. This option requires an additional firing and increases turnaround time from 21-28 days.
$7.00 + GST/student
ADD DIP GLAZING
We fire the projects & dip them in traditional pottery glaze. This option requires an additional firing and increases turnaround time from 21-28 days.

TEACHER LED FINISHING
Bisqueware, which is pottery that has been fired, will be delivered back to the school within 21 days of your workshop ready for painting. We recommend that projects are painted with acrylic paints and then covered with a clear spray or paint on varnish. For best results, when painting 3-dimensional projects, paint the base first, followed by the next largest area (color) and that the small details are painted last. Finishes, such as glitter or clear sprays, should be applied by an adult in a well ventilated area. After they are completely dry, wrap the projects carefully in paper.
Please remind students that clay projects are very fragile and less handling is better.
Use a hot glue gun for loosened decorations.
