Kids Love Fused Glass – it’s Magical and Clay for Kids makes it SAFE
Safety is of utmost importance in the classroom. Softened glass with rounded edges in many shapes and colours will be used in preschool and Kindergarten classes. Grades 1-12 will have a large variety of colours, shapes and sizes of glass to chose from.

FUSED GLASS – PROJECTS AND PRICING
FUSED GLASS
Fused glass workshops are 45-60 minutes in duration. Students are provided with a clear base and a variety of colored glass with which to create. The turnaround time for fused glass is 21-28 days. In peak periods (Christmas and Mother’s Day), please anticipate a 28 turnaround and schedule your workshop(s) accordingly.
Prices for Fused Glass projects are:
- Sun Catchers – $17-20+GST/student.
- Fused glass pendants comes with cord and/or key chain – $19+GST/student for two pendants. $22+GST/student for three pendants
- Crosses – $19+GST/student
- Coasters – $19-20+GST/student
Fused glass workshops are also offered as a teacher – led program. Materials are delivered to the school on Monday and collected on Friday of the same week, allowing teachers and students as opportunity to create at their own pace.
YARD ART
Yard art is delivered to bookings of 200 students minimum. Each workshop is 45 minutes. All workshops must be held in the same room for the day. Students are provided with a clear 2×2 tile and a variety of colored glass with which to create. Each tile is embedded with two wire loops which allow the tiles to be attached to the chain link fence. The decorated tiles are fired and delivered back to the school within 21 days.
This program is offered at budget pricing as the materials offered are: one 2×2 clear square and a mixed glass variety. Unlike our regular workshops, individualized trays for each student are not provided. The nature of this workshop does not allow for student names attached to pieces as it is meant to be part of a large installation.
The yard installation is the responsibility of the school. Clay for Kids is happy to provide this service for an additional charge.
